At the outset, we’d like to point out that this wall lamp is the largest model of its kind—please refer to the photo with a standard-sized version for comparison. We don’t often use the word “rare,” because rarity is subjective, but this particular size is certainly not something you come across every day. This is a Midcentury Modern double-socket wall lamp or sconce, designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld in the 1950s.
