About the Item
Brutalist Candle Sconce by Syroco - vintage, mid-century modern.
Mid-Century Modern Syroco Wall Hanging/Wall Sculpture. This piece is made to be a candle sconce hung upside down from the way it is shown here. However someone has glued a tiny metal greyhound or whippet to the piece in such a way that the best current hanging position is as shown. You could perhaps remove the small dog and then flip the sconce to use with a candle. The piece is in good vintage conditioning, in need of cleaning up. As shown in the second photo, you can also hang it horizontal as a wall sculpture. Please check out our other Syroco items; currently we also have a larger piece, a wall clock.
