The Envelope Sconce is a brutalist-inspired wall sconce, perfect for down-lighting a bedside, accent lighting in larger living spaces, or lighting a hallway created by Streicher Goods in Brooklyn, NY. 500
The Envelope Sconce is a slightly tapered silhouette that pinches closer to the wall near its top. The sconce casts a wide fan of light downwards with a smaller opening light to up-light the environment. The exterior of the piece is hand-painted with acrylic paints to achieve the rugged, stone texture with a vividly contrasting interior that amplifies the light. The light source is housed inside the pocket—When illuminated, the design directs the light in a controlled manner, casting a soft, focused beam that enhances the surrounding space without being overpowering.
Each piece in the "Deep Reflections" Collection is hand-painted, using various techniques to build up the acrylic paint, creating the faux rock-like appearance to the outside of the ceramic piece.
