Early 20th Century Swing Arm Dental Double Pulley Adjustable Light Fixture

About the Item

This is an exceptionally rare dental swing pulley light fixture, with only a few known examples. The wall mounted bracket (restored with quartersawn white oak) pivots, giving the arm the ability to extend up to 23” further out from the standard 39" length. This fixture can be adjusted to extend from 39” to 62” from the wall. Affixed with 16 1/4” diameter milk glass shade and porcelain socket, this timeless, remarkable piece of lighting would live beautifully over a dining room table, in the living room or a bed room. Being an antique item, there is wear consistent with age, like minor rust pitting to the blackened iron and pitting to the smaller nickel plated parts. All wear is patina that we believe adds to the piece's provenance and character.
