About the Item
English George III (1760-1820) two branch hurricane sconce with scrolling branches and original mouth blown bell shaped hurricane shades.
Originally silvered 'Old Sheffield Plate' with the silver long since rubbed back to copper. It's great to have what appear to be the original mouth blown hurricane shades too.
Condition: The glass shades are in excellent condition. The scrolling branches with some dents, marks and oxidisation overall. Supplied for use as a candelabra but could be wired for electricity.
Each shade 18cm diameter; the wall lamp approximately 48cm high overall
