About the Item

This is a Japanese-style wall or ceiling light. It is a faithful reproduction of antique lights that were popular as exterior and interior lights in private homes and stores in Japan from the Meiji period to the early Showa period. The main body is made of brass, and each piece is carefully finished by skilled hardware craftsmen in Toyama Prefecture. For the finish, traditional Japanese lacquer is used, producing a beautiful deep black color and moist luster by the lacquer craftsman's hand. Lacquer prevents rust and corrosion, providing excellent durability outdoors and in humid environments. Three types of glass shades are available (polished glass, milky white, and transparent). One of the charms of this product is that it can be used to create an atmosphere that matches the space. Weight: 700g Notes. The glass shade can be used outdoors if installed under the eaves where it is not directly exposed to rain. Wiring is Japanese style, so it must be changed to local specifications when used overseas. Please note that it may take time for production if the order quantity is large.
