Here is a beautiful example of the amber/honey “Bubble Sconce” ceiling plafond, designed by Helena Tynell and manufactured by Glashütte Limburg in Germany in the 1960s-70s.
The design consists of a hand-molded glass shade full of convex “bubbles” .

Distinctive bubbly texture.

Helena Tynell (1918-2016) is an esteemed Finnish glass designer who collaborated with German manufacturer Limburg in the 1970s to create a series of lamps with glass elements with a “bubble” structure
