Mid-Century German Minimalist Model Flamingo Wall Lamp, 1960s

About the Item

Mid century wall lamp from the german manufacturer bur leuchten. Here is a particularly rare version of the flamingo lamp. Cubic shapes permeate this design, from the shade to the wall panel. The most striking detail of these bur designs is the fine perforation of the umbrellas. A rectangular elongated hole that refracts the emerging light and, when switched on, breaks up the cubic shape of the shade. This rare version has an angled arm on which the lamp head is movably mounted. Have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, european plug (up to 250v).
