Mid-Century Modern Celadon Craqueleur Glass Vanity Light with Chrome Fittings

About the Item

This bold and sophisticated Mid Century Modern vanity light was hand blown in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production, circa 1980. It features a concave domed body realized in craqueleur glass in a stunning celadon hue. The vanity light is secured to the wall via two polished chrome rivets. With its beautiful glass quality and clean modernist lines, it would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The fixture accommodates two candelabra based bulbs providing up to 120 watts of light. Italy, circa 1980 Dimensions: 7.5" H x 4" D x 15" W.

This stunning and dramatic pair of Art Deco Machine Age sconces were realized in the United States circa 1935. They feature circular polished chrome bases secured by hexagonal caps with convex centers. Cylindrical shades cantilever from the bases crowned with a lustrous chrome circular cap at top and bottom, and secured at their bases with a spherical finial. This stylish Italian Mid Century Modern pair of wall sconces or ceiling lights is an attractive light fixture set made of curved shaped frosted glass panels inserted in a polished brass frame mounted on a chrome panel, each sconce houses two light bulbs.
