Mid-Century Space Age Chrome and Ice Glass Wall Lamp, 1960s

About the Item

Imposing Mid-Century wall light with a striking glass reflector. The design impresses with its simple form and the special materiality. The lamp consists of a square box made of metal. A plate made of thick structural glass is screwed onto the front. All elements of the lamp are chrome -plated. The additional reflections potentiate the escaping light and lead to special lighting effects. In contrast to the bladder glasses of other iceglass, this glass shows a simple, wave -shaped structure. The glass and the base plate are mounted at a distance and leave a all -round gap. The cubic heads of the screws on the front are striking, in which the basic shape of the lamp is reflected. Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
