About the Item
Beautiful and important Murano glass applique with a particular shape and a very very rich glass design.
The applique is composed of a rear brass structure, which supports two beautiful leaf-shaped tiles in Murano glass with a very particular design. The glass is shaped like a very narrow shield and imprinted in the glass are the ribs of a leaf. You can clearly see this workmanship from the photos of the details. Externally the glass is smooth, internally there is a grit workmanship. Used by master glassmakers during artistic hot work to give the glass, generally colorless, the color of the grit. With a narrow and long design, this applique is one of a kind. There are six bulbs on the back, so it is also a very bright applique. Elongated shape for any type of space.
