About the Item

Our pair of hand-made solid brass sconces were removed from The John Rogerson Montgomery House, which was a residence designed by architect Howard Van Doren Shaw in Glencoe, Illinois. It is considered to be a significant example of Georgian Revival architecture mixed with Arts & Crafts influences and was constructed in 1908-1909.
