About the Item

Art Deco sconces manufactured in the island of Murano, Italy, circa 1930-40. The base of the sconce is a clear Murano glass 'cuff' and the shade is done in the Filigrana technique. This sconce is very similar to several other works by Carlo Scarpa for Venini pictured in their catalogue raisonee but we could not find an exact model reference for this but the shape and techniques are classical Venini and all of the models where customizable to the clients' specifications.
