About the Item
A pair of French Art Deco wall sconces by the French artist Degue is in great condition. Molded in clear frosted glass shades decorated with geometric and floral motifs. Each shade is marked "DEGUE COMPIEGE 618" mounted in nickeled bronze frames. Sconces have been re-plated in nickel and rewired for U.S. standards. Each sconce accommodates one candelabra bulb (total of 65 Watt max). We are the rare source that specializes exclusively in French Art Deco for over three decades, since 1991 with restoration, repair and plaiting for any lighting period located in Long Island City, N.Y.
