Pair of French Three-Light Torch-Style Iron Sconces

About the Item

A pair of French three-light iron sconces from the mid-20th century. These vintage French hand forged sconces each have two torch-style lights set at the farthest ends of a horizontally set c-shaped arm, flanking a shorter profiled central light which rests back closer to the back-plate. The back-plate has a vertical piece that extends up and out from it's centre, with a rustically stylized finial atop. Cupped iron bobèches hold the painted candle sleeves within their centres. The light fixtures are black iron with wonderful rusty old patina throughout. This pair of French sconces have been wired for the US.
