A pair of Italian early 19th century Louis XVI st. Giltwood, Gilt metal sconces

About the Item

A beautiful and very unique pair of Italian early 19th century Louis XVI st. Giltwood, Gilt metal, and Crystal sconces. Each seven light sconce is centered by a gilded sphere which connects the four 'C' scrolled arms which join with three additional arms on the gilded frame above. Along each arm as well as the gilded band are tasteful decorations of prism cut Crystal pendants. These Crystal decorations lead upwards to the circular foliate designed candle cups that hold the electrified candles. *Shades shown for display purposes, sold separately.
