About the Item
Stunning pair of Hollywood Regency Dorothy Draper inspired palm tree wall torchières from the Midcentury, wired for the USA. The palm tree forms are lacquered in a glossy off-white finish and evoke the glamour of Dorothy Draper. Standing 85" tall, these monumental lights are wired for the USA and each features two sockets for Edison-style regular light bulbs, creating a warm and ambient glow. The open tops allow light to radiate softly upward, enhancing the overall allure of the design.
Crafted to be placed flat against a wall, these torchières are perfect for accentuating an entryway, living room, or dining area. Their sculptural palm tree form brings a playful yet sophisticated element, making them a true conversation piece.
Good vintage condition with some cosmetic imperfections (chips to lacquer, scuffs, etc.) consistent with age and use. These display beautifully and are tested and working.
