Pierre Forssell was active at Skultuna Messingsbruk from 1955 to 1986, for over thirty years, an era in which he was one of those who contributed to giving the mill a new status in modern design with his modernist design, mainly during the 1960s and 70s. His design was austere, making his design pieces timeless. The candle holders are stamped with makers and designers signature on the back.
