Pair of Wrought Iron French Sconces with Gilt Highlights, 1940s

About the Item

This highly detailed pair of two-arm, French wrought iron sconces have been given gilt highlights. They date to the 1940’ and their motifs include several series of C-scrolls. The backs are narrow at the top fanning out at the bottom where the two arms are. The gilt highlights are in the iron banding and tips of the scrolls.
