About the Item

Patinated ‘Foglio’ Wall Lights by Tobia Scarpa for Flos, 1966 – Set of Four Offered is a set of four original ‘Foglio’ wall lights, designed by Tobia Scarpa for Flos, Italy, in 1966. These iconic fixtures embody the refined minimalism of mid-century Italian design, combining functional form with sculptural beauty. The design features a single, curved metal sheet that folds gently around two hidden bulbs, casting both upward and downward light. The result is a soft, ambient glow that enhances any space without overwhelming it. Each sconce has a white enameled interior to reflect light efficiently, while the exterior shows a natural patina that highlights their vintage character. These pieces have been professionally rewired and are in good working condition. They accept E27 bulbs (not included) and are compatible with both LED and incandescent options. Original Flos mounting brackets, stamped Art. 441 – Made in Italy, are included for easy and secure installation. Dimensions (each): Width: 37 cm Height: 21 cm Depth: 10 cm All four lights show signs of age, including surface wear, patina, and light oxidation, consistent with their vintage status. These marks contribute to their authentic charm and enhance their architectural presence. Still in production today, this early edition offers collectors and design lovers a chance to own an original piece of 1960s Italian lighting history. Suitable for both residential and commercial interiors — from hallways and bedrooms to gallery walls and lounges — these sconces elevate any setting with subtle elegance. Sold only as a complete set of four.

Rolf Krüger for Staff Leuchten Set 124 Ceiling or Wall lights, Germany 1960s.
By Staff Leuchten, Rolf Krüger
Located in Almelo, NL
Rolf Krüger for Staff Leuchten set / 124 Ceiling or Wall lights, Germany 1960s. This set consists of 124 simple ceiling or wall lights created by Rolf Krüger and made by Staff in Germany during the 1960s. It is rare to find such a large quantity of these lights. The lights feature a simple cylindrical shape that transforms into a square base with a soft radius. The top of the upper end holds the contaminant visibly, making it perfect for mirror headlights to avoid direct glare. The assembly plate is integrated into the base plate. These lamps' unique feature is their ability to combine ceiling or wall sculptures. These lights are minimalistic, making them a statement piece in any room. They are in excellent condition without any damage, 100% original, fully functional, and come with an E27 socket. These lights are compatible with US/UK/ASIA standards and LED compatible. They have been cleaned, well-wired, in complete working order, and ready to use. Mid-century lighting is a sustainable option as it allows you to repurpose and give new life to existing products. Mid-century design lighting is often of high quality, built to last for several years. They also come with a rich history, and their signs of wear give a glimpse into the previous owner's life. - Set consists 124 fixtures. - Size: 10,5 x 10,5 cm. - Size: Height 12 cm. - Fitted with E27 sockets suitable for LED. - The lights are compatible with US/UK/ASIA standards. - Cleaned, well-wired, and ready to use Krüger designed a variety of metal, glass, and concrete products for the manufacturer, Staff Leuchten. Among his creations were bubble glass pendants (which he made in collaboration with Japanese lighting designer Motoko Ishii), tube decorative wall lamps, and the iconic Cross Oyster flush mount ceiling light, which was displayed in the exhibition stand of Mercedes-Benz at the 1970 Geneva International Motor Show. In 1968, Krüger worked with German industrial designer Dieter Witte to create a large wall panel version of the Cross Oyster light...
