All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the USA it will be wired for the USA for instance. Rethinking, reimagining, redesigning familiar objects that we look at every day without ever really seeing them and using light to tell stories, this how Marie-Lise Féry sees her work. Offering a new take on our urban heritage, changing our perspective through her work on scale and usage. Since 2015, Magic Circus Éditions has been setting the world of lighting ablaze, creating airy, playful and magical designs that merge retro with sleek and contemporary. A free-spirited antiquarian, founder Marie-Lise Féry draws inspiration from the world of cabarets and the magic of the circus to give shape to imaginative, fun and playful collections. The air of magic she breathes into her work reveals a wealth of interpretations and widens possibilities for creative interiors. The combination of traditional know-how — outstanding craftsmanship — and her imaginative take on historical, everyday objects lends an unexpected and charming quality to her creations. Féry’s lights are designed just like magic lanterns — precursor to modern-day cinema —, inspiring wonder through oversized, seemingly weightless compositions and understated references. Each collection has its own inspiration: the first models of street lighting for Collection 01; the happy memories of funfairs, sweets and balloons for her latest collection Balloon; the Far East for Collection 02; and the colourful, carefree spirit of the 1970s for Pop-Up, released in 2019. Magic Circus Éditions draws on airy designs, dream-like inspirations, colours and fun to create a sense of enchantment. Magic Circus Éditions founder Marie-Lise Féry was born in Paris. After studyingart business, she moved to New York to start her career. Fascinated by the city’s architecture, she found an endless source of inspiration in the Big Apple’s monumental decors. Returning to France to settle down in Lyon, she opened an antiques gallery named Un Château en Espagne, and started telling her own stories through objects she gleaned on markets all around the country. A way for her to perpetuate her mother’s motto: “Objects with a soul will always belong”. Since 2015, the year she established Magic Circus Éditions, she has moved on to lighting as a new medium for telling her stories, bringing the magic of the show into home interiors. With her love for the circus, turn-of-the-century cabarets and music halls, Marie-Lise Féry’s love of unusual objects has remained strong, but now prefers to focus her attention on pieces she has imagined herself. With a fun and light-spirited approach, she creates a bold visual effect that elicits instant attraction. She collaborates with some of Europe’s greatest artisans, from Prague and Murano to Clermont-Ferrand, working for instance with a Czech company specialising in sculpting glass using a diamond-blade saw, or an auto body shop renowned for their work with lacquers. The refinement of shapes and finishes, bespoke designs and technical excellence all contribute to creating pieces that inspire surprise and wonderment. In the manner of Wes Anderson in Grand Budapest Hotel, blending together elegance, humour and unexpected details, her designs never fail to surprise. Attentive to the effect of her designs both in daylight and at night, Marie-Lise Féry takes us on a journey through space (from outside to inside) and time (from yesterday to today).

Half Moon Pendant Light
By Atelier George
Located in Paris, FR
This luminaire, conceptualized by Atelier George in 2020, is part of the Aube collection. This pendant light is inspired by the shape and surface of a half-moon, in opaline white glass, veined with grey and ivory. The luminaire is suspended by a brass stem whose height can be made to measure. The production lead time is 7 to 8 weeks. Several mounting options: hanging brass ring and rosette, hanging by the rosette, simple hanging by brass ring. E 14 bulb recommended. The two designers and glassblowers, Eve and Laurent, have been working together since 2012. Their work consists of editing glass tiles, lighting and decorative objects. Originally trained as a designer, Eve grew up and studied in Paris. After having completed a bachelor’s degree at the Boulle School and a cycle of graduate studies at ENSCI-Les Ateliers, she decided to learn various glass-making techniques. In particular, she chose glass blowing, in order to give a concrete form to some of his ideas. In June 2018, Eve George received the Prize for Young Art Creation, a French national award for young artisans. That same year, she was also a finalist for the Grand Prix de la Création (Paris, France) and the International Competition for Artistic Creation and Design (Milan, Italy). Her work has been featured in various contemporary glass exhibitions in France and Europe, as well as at Dubai Design Week and the Jeunes Marchands show at Sotheby’s Paris. The Anne Jacquemin Sablon gallery opened its doors to the public in 2015. It is a space dedicated to design and contemporary applied arts. It presents a collection of furniture, lighting, accessories and works of art. The gallery is located in a unique and historic space, initially a fashion boutique from the 1920’s. Today, renovated to accommodate artists, designers and interior architects, as it is a space that meets the art requirements and clients needs who have a particular interest in applied arts and contemporary design. Indeed, most of the pieces are designed by French architects such as Tristan Auer, Thierry Lemaire...
