About the Item
Polifemo Couple is a set of Sculptural Sconces suitable for illuminating and creating soft light spots on the sides of a mirror or in any situation that requires a symmetrical lighting composition.
The LED light can be supplied dimmable upon request.
The name of the piece refers to the Cyclope because of the giant eye glowing light from a hidden source.
The light is filtered by translucent stone spreading a smooth light that became bright when it hits the brass element giving a sculptural effect.
Polifemo is a composition of three natural elements, Onyx, Brass, and Mongoy Wood complementing each other through a dialogue of pure geometries.
The brass is brushed with a wax coating to slow down the natural oxidation process, thus creating an alluring finish that ages gracefully over time.
Materials: Machined brushed Brass, Onyx, waxed Mongoy Wood
All brass finishes are unlacquered and hand sealed with a light layer of wax. The finish is live and is intended to patina over time.
Lacquered finish available upon request.
Polifemo Couple is finished and assembled by hand in our studio in Italy. Each piece is made to order and customizations are available.
