RAAK 'Vigilante' Wall Lights in Hand-Blown Glass
About the Item
RAAK, wall sconces, model 'C-1663' Vigilante, metal, glass, Europe, 1960s.
These lights have a simplistic design. Its strength is in the combination of the forms and materials. The fixture consists of a plate to which two tubes are connected that both hold a globe shaped sphere that are mounted on the cylinder. The surface embodies a texture of various air bubbles inconsistent in size. The glass orb is slightly tinted in a white tone. This, in combination with the graceful relief, results in an atmospheric light partition.
