About the Item
The well-known Belgian designer and interior architect Christophe Gevers worked on quite a number of private homes, some restaurants, shops and larger projects (such as Flandria, World Expo Osaka,etc..) in Belgium and France during his career. Again with the design of this wall lamp, the Wave, he proves his genius in its sheer simplicity. Largely, the lamp consists of sheet curved metal. This wall lamp is used in numerous of his restaurant projects such as ‘Au Vieux Saint Martin’ (1968), ‘The Canterbury’ (1992) and ‘The Claridge’ (2022) in the region around Brussels.
Even after more than 50 years, it remains a beautifully designed wall lamp that not only stands the test of time, but can also be used in many different kinds of interiors.
