Stunning Brass 1950's Swing Arm Counterbalanced Wall Applique by Cosack Leuchten
About the Item
Rare and beautiful Model number 9591 organic form counterbalanced swing arm applique by the specialist avant garde german lighting company Cosack Leuchten 1959
This applique is in wonderful and rare original unrestored condition and has never been repainted, a lovely original survivor example
The applique has two rotating swivel points, one at the wall mounting finished in the original black enameled 'crackle finish' and another on the top of the organic 'wishbone' form finished in white 'crackle' enameled aluminum
The angle of the cantilevered reflector, also finished in its original white 'crackle' enamel finish, is also adjustable via a ball joint held on a Nickel plated brass stem is stabilised by a counterweight
The wall mounting has an integral lighting switch.
The arm can be extended up to an amazing 170cm / 67 inch
