About the Item
Elegant wall light from the Danish manufacturer Nordisk Solar, designed by Hans Agne Jakobsson.
A really elegant and delicate design. The head consists of two flat shells that serve as reflectors. The small lower shell obscures the light source and reflects the light to the inside of the upper shell. This directs the light diffusely downward. In addition, a light reflection is created in the form of a sheet as an accent on the wall. Striking is the contrast in color and form of the base and lampshade. The base is designed as a triangle and black. By contrast, the round bowls are in white. Connected are the elements of a bar made of metal. Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
