XL Mod. 252/p Sconces by Arteluce

About the Item

XL Mod. 252/p Sconces by Vittorio Gregotti, Lodovico Meneghetti, and Giotto Stoppino for Arteluce. Designed and manufactured in Italy, in 1966. Large wall lamps comprising of silver patinated brass mounting bodies and acrylic dome diffusers. The mounting bodies have a great patina, more reminiscent to a pewter or aged nickel. The sconces hold a single E27 socket type, adapted for the US. We recommend a 40w max bulb and strongly suggest an LED equivalent. Rewired for the US. Sold individually. The rim of the armatures which hold the acrylic are in fairly good shape, though over time, they do show signs of being un-level. This can be remedied by some light tweaking on site. This does not pertain to every piece available, though Rewire mentions this as a note of quality.
