About the Item
This is a Heavy Desk light lamp, designed by Benjamin Hubert for Decode London in 2009. This particular example dates to 2019. The piece is made from thin-walled cast concrete, and has an arm of oak veneer. The cord has been wrapped with red material for a fun contrast.
The lamp measures 11.8 inches long, 7.75 inches wide and 18 inches high. No two "Heavy" lamps are the same, as each concrete shade is individually slip-cast and air pockets and veining develop on the interior of the shades. This lamp is in very good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
