About the Item
A rare table lamp with beautiful Amethyst core, in the style of Willy Daro, manufactured in Belgium around 1970.
The lamp has a beautiful brass base on a Belgian black marble foot. The hood is black lacquered with brass edges. The true eyecatcher is the amethyst stone in the center, held by brass armature. Amethyst is said to clear the mind and create calmness. It would also help with mental processing and organizing thoughts. Besides all this, it also has a beautiful deep purple color and adds very nicely to the decorative appearance of this luxurious lamp.
It remains in good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
