Art Deco Style Mother of Pearl Tone Table Lamp with Pleated Shade
About the Item
Form nearly matches function in this art deco style lamp with its pleated shade. The symmetry is apparent from the graceful base in its half-shell silhouette which seems to point toward the lampshade. The lamp base is an eggshell white color that is iridescent with pink undertones and mother of pearl. The lamp has great design appeal. When it is turned on, it epitomizes statement lighting.
This is one of two similar lamps that were purchased at a midcentury lighting auction in 2022. The lamp measures 25 inches tall, by 14 inches wide and 6 inches deep.
