Czech Art Glass Figural Fruit and Flower Basket Lamp or Accent Light

About the Item

This figural art glass fruit and flower basket was produced in Czechoslovakia in the mid-late 1930s in the period Art Deco style. The base is composed of a series of faceted clear beads making up the exterior of the basket, and accenting handle. The basket sits on a footed gold metal base with a gold metal ring around the perimeter of the lid. The art glass insert is done is a multicolored array of various fruits and flowers done in both clear and frosted glass. The top fits firmly into the top of the basket. Please note the electrical light component of this lamp is missing.
