Danish Kähler HAK Tall Table Lamp Brown and Warm Yellow, Modern Ceramic 1960s
About the Item
Tall table lamp by Nils Kähler from Herman August Kähler's ceramic workshop in Denmark. Made ca 1960s.
The lamp base has an incised pattern and the glossy glaze is amber / curry colored. The neck and the shoulders are left smooth and without glazing.
Included is a new lampshade designed and made in Denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and off white color. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards.
Incised with the initials HAK for Herman A. Kähler and hand signed "Nils" by Nils Kähler himself.
Nils Kähler (1906-1979) was fourth generation of the family Kähler. He and his brother Herman Jørgen Kähler, who were in charge of Kähler´s ceramic workshop from 1940, brought the artistic expressions of the ceramic production into the mid-century period.

The lamp remains in very good vintage condition with full function. No cracks, chips or repairs.
Light bulb: For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting.
The lamp is made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.
