Dimmable Sonnenkind Table Lamp for Télé-ambiance, France 1950s-1960s
About the Item
This vintage table lamp is a true beauty and eye-catcher in your room. It was made by the French company Télé-Ambiance and the long gone German company Sonnenkind sold these lamps. The lamp has a black metal triangular base and the bulb is surrounded by a black grill with a white and yellow acrylic disc with 6 black ornamental screws. This lamp has a dimmer, which was very rare for that period. At that time this lamp was intended to be rotated and in order to adjust the lighting of your TV area.
This Télé Ambiance table lamp was also made with two white discs and a grey painted base. The ornamental screws are chromed. Made in several colours (orange, red, pink, and also with a different gaze in between the two discs. A triangle and a square version were also produced. Made with a round base. Also wall lamps were made.
The lamp is in a good condition with minor signs of age and use.
