Extraordinary Pair of French Louis XVI Style Bronze & Marble Double Candlelabra
About the Item
A fine pair of extremely well made and decorative bronze candelabra having twin candle holders with emitting cornucopia laden with fruiting bobeche.
Each base finely cast with a central opposing ebonized cherub with hoofen feet and a leaf & grape wreath crown. The candelabra presented on a deep fluted multi-colored tiered marble base with beaded and egg/dart motifs. Switch on back. Porcelain candle covers.
Dimensions: 13 3/4" W x 9 1/4" D x 12 7/8" H
Condiiton: Signs of age include some very minor nicks to marble, old stable cracks and repairs to porcelain candle covers none of which detract from the overall regal presentation. Please see detail photos for condition.
