French 19th Century Louis XVI St. Ormolu And Rock Crystal Lamp
About the Item
An elegant and finely detailed French 19th century Louis XVI st. Ormolu and Rock Crystal lamp. This lamp is raised by a square Ormolu base with a column above. The bottom plinth of the column is decorated with an egg and dart pattern along with an acanthus leaf spray just below the body of the column. The mid section of the lamp consists of a round tapering Rock Crystal support. The top capital is decorated by two layers of draping Ormolu acanthus leaves.
