About the Item
An elegant and unique French 19th century Louis XVI st. Oxblood Porcelain and Ormolu lamp. This wonderful lamp is raised on an octagonal Ormolu base with concave corners and finely chased geometric reserves centered by rosettes and set on a hammered background. The base supports the stunning Oxblood Porcelain urn above which is flanked by handsome lion head handles to each side. Above is the slender neck of the lamp leading to a mottled top cap.
