French Empire Gilt and Patinated Bronze Figural Lamp by Chibout

About the Item

This finely cast and hand chased candelabrum of the winged figure of Victory retains its original mercury gilding and patination. Now wired as a lamp, it is signed twice by Pierre Chibout. Pierre Chibout was working in Paris from 1806 to 1824 with Claude Franscois Rabiat.
