About the Item
French Mid-Century ceramic table lamp, Vallauris/Accolay school, circa 1955–65. The hand-thrown boule body is finished in a deep metallic lustre glaze—bronze/smoked mirror—with a fine intentional craquelure that adds texture and character. A short neck supports a brass lampholder; the pull-chain switch and the fabric drum shade are later additions that keep the silhouette clean and timeless. When lit, the reflective surface creates a warm halo and subtle gradients, making it a versatile accent for living rooms, consoles or bedside tables.
