German Art Deco Diffuna Table Lamp by Karl Trabert for Schaco Schanzenbach Co.
About the Item
Elegant table lamp from Schaco based on a design by Karl Trabert from the 1930s. Here is a very rare version of the Diffuna with a metal shade.
A special detail is the striking base of the lamp. The shaft is formed from a continuous tube and forms a foot when placed in a loop at the bottom. The upper area of the shaft forms a wide arc towards the lamp dome. The black rotary switch protrudes from the hemispherical dome on the front. The shade is a flat plate with a wide edge. It is made of aluminum and has been polished to a high shine.
The lamp is in very good condition and shows signs of wear and patina. The surface was polished by an artisan and the lamp was professionally rewired.

Art Deco Swiss Quick 1500 Swivel Table Lamp by Alfred Müller for Amba, 1930s
By AMBA, Alfred Müller, AMBA
Located in Hamburg, DE
Rare table lamp from the swiss manufacturer amba based on a design by alfred müller from the 1930s. It was later produced by belmag.
a functional design classic from the early 20th century. The lamp still has the original color - a shade of green - with the corresponding patina. The widely projecting umbrella, which sits at the end of an angled shaft, is striking. The shaft is chrome-colored. The color of the shade is repeated in the base. The umbrella is pivoted. This means the light can be individually aligned using the rotating shaft and shade. The height of the lamp can also be adjusted by pulling the shaft out of the base.
the lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina. Cables, switches and plugs were replaced.
