Silvershadow design by Hérve Langlais for Galerie Negropontes, composed of "Build-in-glass" glass by Perrin & Perrin.
Interior designer and architect Herve Langlais creates furniture with the purest of lines. His designs are enhanced by the elegance and inventiveness of the materials with which he works: torn wood, charred wood, white and ink colored Macassar ebony, soft granites, lacquer, bronze or galuchat. To create these objects that resemble fine jewelry, the gallery has partners of rare quality. Craftsmen that are passionate about their work and with whom Sophie Negropontes and Herve Langlais have forged privileged relationships over the years.
With Hervé Langlais, the sculptors Perrin & Perrin have created exceptional new pieces. Their work creates a play on textures within the block of glass. A brass setting subtly sublimates the glass of the Silvershadow lamp.
