Large Murano Italian handblown ribbed glass white and gold controlled bubbles table lamp by Alfredo Barbini. The hand blown glass is decorated with pair of round gold inclusions glass faux pulls. The lamp rest on gilt metal base. Newly wired for US with new 3 brass socket and rayon cord. Glass alone is 24" tall, overall height top of socket 30.5".

Alfredo Barbini (1912–2007), a glass artist born in 1912 on the islands of Murano in the lagoon of Venice, Italy, was one of Murano's leading figures of the 20th century. His parents were members of families, which had been prominent in the glassmaking industry on Murano for generations as glassblowers and beadmakers.
