About the Item
This charming mushroom-shaped table lamp is the essence of Italian design from the 1960s. Its harmonious form—a rounded shade that flows smoothly into the base—is made of white opaline glass with a unique effect of delicate threads characteristic of Venetian Murano glass craftsmanship.
The “thread” effect creates a subtle, slightly wavy pattern inside the glass, which beautifully diffuses the light, giving it a soft and slightly pearly sheen. The whole piece is made using the soffiato technique – hand-blown glass forming – which makes each piece unique.
