Mid-Century Danish Plastic Table Lamp by Flemming Brylle & Preben Jacobsen

About the Item

This mid-century table lamp was designed by Flemming Brylle and Preben Jacobsen. This is a rare version of smoked glass. The lightness of the design lies, particularly in the materiality and transparency. The basic structure of the lamp is made of transparent acrylic ribs, five of which are fixed in a star shape. The diffusers or reflectors are thin and flexible, opaque plastic strips which are inserted between ribs in the acrylic and so impart the characteristic shape and lighting effect of the light. The lamp has a cord switch. European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
