About the Item

Very rare table lamp by Architectural Lighting after a design by the well-known industrial designer Peter Nelson from the 60s. The design language and the materiality of Nelson's designs reflect his background in the aviation industry. Aluminium as a "signature material" and an "engineering" precision and workmanship. His luminaire designs are characterised by a purist aesthetic inherent in functional and technical details. This table lamp is made of a combination of aluminium and chromed steel. A special feature here is the fine and thin rod of the luminaire made of solid material on which the spotlight engages. A trademark of these luminaires is the characteristic "cube switch box", a simple box made of milled aluminium with integrated push-button switches. The luminaire is labelled under the base. This piece has an attribution mark. European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
