About the Item
This stunning and graphic Mid-Century Modern uplight/ table lamp was realized in the United States, circa 1970. It features four cylindrical bodies rising from a circular chrome base, like perfectly formed stalagmites, capped with frosted glass shades of the same shape. The matte quality of the frosted glass provides a sophisticated material counterpoint to the luster of the chrome base and supports. The chrome forms are of staggered lengths which imbues the piece with a subtle and sophisticated dynamism. Its clean lines and monochromatic palate make this piece as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired and is in excellent vintage condition.
