About the Item

This beautiful Mid-Century Modern lamp was realized by the esteemed 20th century maker Design Techniques in the United States, circa 1970. It features a circular base from which a cylindrical body ascends giving way to a tapered neck all in a light dove gray. The body of the lamp features a wealth of striated incisions etched into the surface, imbuing it with a subtle dynamism that belies its austere aesthetic. With its clean modernist lines and monochromatic palate, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling. It would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. The lamp comes fitted with a custom shade and is in excellent vintage condition. It is also stamped with the Design Techniques cartouche . American, circa 1970 Dimensions: Height: 27" x Base Diameter: 7" Shade Diameter: 12".
