About the Item
This desk lamp is the quintessential Mid-Century Modern design: a conical sisal shade, an elegantly shaped brass arm and a round wooden base with a white push button switch.
Made by the German-Swiss manufacturer Temde and hailing from the late 50s to early 60s this lamp is still in great condition - a testimony to the craftsmanship and quality martials used when making this lamp.
The lamp is designed for an E27 bulb and emits a warm and comforting light through its sisal shade.
This is a compact and well proportioned lamp that would work well as a bedside lamp or indeed as as intended as a desk lamp.
