Mid-Century Swiss Minimalist Minilux Table Lamp, 1960s

About the Item

Minimalist table lamp from the Swiss manufacturer Baltensweiler according to a draft by Rosemarie and Rico Baltensweiler from the 1960s. A functional design in a very factual design language. The light head consists of a simple aluminum cylinder with a small reflector umbrella. There is a perfectly fitted pressure switch on the top of the head. The head sits at the end of a finely executed shaft. The shaft is angled at the top and provided with a joint. The foot is dissolved in a ring and made of heavy cast iron. The shaft crowses the foot on one side. It is flexibly stored and can be tilted. The lamp can be aligned in different positions via the different joints.
