About the Item
A pair of Ming style ceramic table lamps. Hand painted with subtle pink peonies, sprigs of crab apple flowers, and pale green and beige leaves on a white background. Crab apple flowers and peonies suggest the phrase "mantang fugui: ‘May the whole family achieve wealth and honor". The vases have gold rims, brass lids, and stand on wooden bases. Cut corner bell shaped shades in white linen are secured with finials cast in the symbol for longevity. Each lamp measures 18.5"H to top of socket, 28"H to top of finial. Shades measure 16"W x 12"D x 11.5"H.
