About the Item

This sophisticated modernist spiral form table lamp was realized in the United States during the latter half of the 20th century. It features a torqued spiral form executed in satin nickel with a hollow body. The negative space created by the winding ribbons of satin nickel allow one to see the the cylindrical interior rod, lending the piece a compelling dynamism and dimensionality sure to delight discerning collectors of great design objects. Its monochromatic palate and sculptural silhouette make this piece as versatile as it is stunning, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. The lamp accommodates two Edison based bulbs offering up to 200 watts of light. It has been newly rewired to American standards and comes fitted with a custom shade.
